Anime Nation Fest 2024

I’m absolutely thrilled to announce my debut as Dragon Dandy at Anime Nation Fest! This three-day convention is a dream come true for me, combining my love for anime and tattoos in one epic event. Words can’t express how excited I am to showcase my hairbow creations at my very own Artist Alley table! The thought of connecting with fellow enthusiasts and sharing our passion fills me with immense joy and anticipation. April 19th to 21st, 2024, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, mark your calendars—it’s going to be an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to see you there! You can find more information about the event on their website, and follow me on Instagram to keep up with all of the updates. I even made this adorable graphic for their website!

So I wanted to give a little update as to my experience at the convention! I was so excited to go as this was my first 3-day convention. I’ve been to events before that are one or maybe two day, but not any conventions that were as big as I thought this one would be. Sadly, the attendance was well below what was expected. I got to see some awesome voice actors in the panel, but not much else. Most of the events were cancelled due to lack of participants, so there wasn’t much entertainment. It wasn’t at all like I expected an anime tattoo convention to be. I did make some sales! I sold out of all of my small studio ghibli (soot sprite) bows! I’ll be making more soon! I also made some new friend sin the artist alley that I’m hoping to see at events in the future.
If you’re a small business looking to vend at Anime Nation Fest 2024, I’d advise caution as their disorganization around the whole thing left a bit of a sour taste in the mouths of both vendors and attendees. If you’re a looking for a convention with lilttle entertainment and the smallest possible crowd, then the ticket may be worth it if you’re attending one of their upcoming out of state cons.

Check out some footage I put together of me (and my brother) at my first con with Dragon Dandy!
